Photography classes at Cheaha Creative Arts, Anniston, ALCCA Basic Nature Photography Course will focus will on school age students but should be helpful to all interested in an introduction to photography. We will start with photography basics including understanding of exposure and camera operation. Composition and image design will be discussed. Saturday morning field lessons will be included to compliment class topics. It is planned to conduct field lessons early taking advantage of early morning light. Some basic instruction in processing images in software programs will also be included.

Requirements are an interest in the art of photography. The program is in the process of attempting to obtain funding for basic adjustable digital camera equipment for use. There will be cameras available for student use but participants are encouraged to bring their own adjustable digital cameras when possible. Any camera can take expressive photographs.

Hopefully the course will be enjoyable and successful in developing an increased capability and interest in the art of photography.
